    Internal Sales Manager

    Job Overview:

    GM Group are a growing, well-established family-run business which operates from a 2-acre modern facility in Oldham, Greater Manchester. You will be based in our new ultra-modern brand new office suite recently built in 2022.

    We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven, hardworking, and passionate Internal Sales Manager to join the commercial team to help drive the growth of sales throughout the business.

    The role offers the opportunity to earn commission on top of the salary offered.
    Engineering experience is preferred but not essential.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    To provide an outstanding and consistent level of service to customers on enquiries, order placement / progression and liaise internally to ensure successful delivery.
    You will be the first point of contact for customers and liaise with our suppliers and colleagues on technical issues to assist with enquiries.

    Other duties to include:

    • Assisting with inbound enquiries via telephone & email
    • Dealing with surplus machines offered for sale
    • Preparing quotations, sales confirmations, and other sales documents
    • Checking all orders and quotations have the correct prices, discounts, and product numbers
    • Amending and updating CRM software consistently
    • Offering exceptional customer service in a professional & timely manner
    • Following up quotations
    • Attending monthly sales meetings
    • Liaising with shipping companies
    • Outsourcing freight services in the most cost-effective way
    • Supporting field Sales Representatives
    • Liaising with Suppliers
    • Liaising with the Marketing Department to generate new leads
    • Ensuring adherence to laws, regulations, and policies
    • Attending Exhibitions within the UK

    Qualifications, Skills & Experience

    • Experience in an office environment
    • Engineering experience
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and online applications (CRM Software)
    • Confident to work at all levels within an organisation, both internal and external.
    • Exemplary Customer Service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Multitasker
    • Organised with good attention to detail
    • Willingness to undertake CPD training
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Current knowledge of industry trends and regulations

    Package

    • Basic salary of £27-32k DOE

      Digital Marketing Coordinator

      Job Overview:
      This post requires a candidate that can show real passion for marketing and who is creative and innovative, multimedia savvy, well organised and will thrive working in a fast paced, growing office.

      The role will include tracking campaign progress, developing various digital marketing materials, sourcing images and artwork, collating content, updating online assets, and handling general digital marketing activities. Creative thinking skills and strategies will be essential in driving our digital vision to improve digital communication with customers and encouraging business growth through effective campaigns.

      Responsibilities and Duties:

      • Undertaking daily marketing administrative duties to assist the Marketing Director
      • Planning and implementing the groups social media, email campaigns and creating digital content on various platforms
      • Contribute to the brand reputation by planning campaigns and effectively responding to customer queries
      • Update spreadsheets, databases, and inventories with statistical, financial and
      non-financial information
      • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media,
      web analytics, rankings etc.)
      • Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships
      • Supporting the Marketing Director in organising various projects
      • Assist in all promotional activities including exhibitions
      • Plan, post and oversee social media content and campaigns
      • Create and drive engaging digital content across all of our platforms

      Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

      • Degree in Marketing, Advertising or similar
      • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an office / marketing environment
      • Strong communicator both written and verbal
      • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and online applications (CRM, Online analytics, Google AdWords
      • Confident to work with senior level
      • Good understanding of marketing principles
      • Able to work in fast-paced environment

      Business Administration Apprentice

        GM CNC Limited are the sole UK and Republic of Ireland agents for the well-established brand Victor Taichung who are the largest machine tool manufacturers in Taiwan.

        We currently have a vacancy for a Business Administration Apprentice who will be required to assist in the day-to-day running of our offices.

        Duties will include:

        Management and distribution of incoming and outgoing post
        Greeting and signing in all external visitors
        Answering inbound telephone calls and directing calls to the relevant person
        Greeting visitors in a professional manner and providing refreshments when appropriate
        Assist with marketing to include events, campaigns, website and social media
        Assist with some data entry for the account’s payable invoices
        Assist with the distribution of letters to external customers
        Proactively assist in the smooth running of the office
        General filing and shredding of documents
        Ordering stock for office and warehouse refreshments
        Ordering and monitoring stock levels of office supplies

        CNC Service Engineers

        Location: North West

          GM CNC Limited are the sole UK and Republic of Ireland agents for the well-established brand Victor Taichung who are the largest machine tool manufacturer in Taiwan.

          We currently have a vacancy for 3 CNC Service Engineers who are required to provide a first-class service to our customers within the mainland of the UK.

          You will be part of an expanding team and benefits will include a salary commensurate with experience and offer a company vehicle, overtime, mobile phone, laptop, annual leave and private pension.

          Responsibilities for the role include:

          • Repair and routine maintenance on CNC Lathes and Machining Centres on site at our customers premises or at our warehouse in Greater Manchester 
          • Set up and commissioning of new machinery installations on site 
          • Ordering of spares required from our parts department  
          • Answering customer technical queries on machines 
          • Repair/service of used stock items
          • Travelling from home to site if required by customer

          Essential Requirements:

          • Experience working within a similar role
          • First class knowledge of CNC Systems including but not limited to Fanuc Controls 
          • Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications 
          • Knowledge of installations, fault finding, electrical and/or mechanical repairs. 
          • Willingness to travel nationally and prepared to stay overnight if required (mainly local)
          • Full, clean UK driving license

          As a Service Engineer, you must be able to work on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will also be hardworking and good at timekeeping, have good interpersonal skills and have a tenacity to achieve results.
